Experience: Has experience on a dairy farm in the UK and in QLD she has just recently been working in shearing sheds as a rousie in WA for about 2 months. She prefers working with livestock as opposed to working with machinery, she would rather be in a 100% livestock position, she likes working with cattle & sheep. She is based in the Wheatbelt near Meckering, she is looking for work close to this location as she has accommodation with her partner on a farm he works at, and she would like to be able to travel to and from work each day. She is available as a long-term option since she is currently on her first working holiday visa and has a couple of years left available.

Experience: Has experience with grain harvest with AGT doing data recording and grain analysis however she hasn’t operated large farm machinery. She is physically fit and healthy, she is willing to work with animals or whatever needs to be done. She has some horse-riding experience as well as working with cattle moving them between paddocks. She has experience operating a John Deere 8 series during a potato harvest, telehandler and forklifts. She has done some work pulling down fences and other basic farm work.
She has her own and is fully mobile within WA.

Experience: He doesn’t have very much experience in agriculture, but he has a great attitude and is willing to help and to do a good job, however he needs to work with someone or next to someone to learn. He has done the course and did well he showed good potential and capability on the machinery, but he needs more time to be fully competent. Potentially he could drive an air-seeder in the right environment and with supervision in the beginning, he does tend to learn quickly. Farming is new to him but is very keen to do a good job and his attitude is his number 1 selling point.

Experience: He has completed our course and has small amounts of prior agricultural experience working on a dairy farm in New Zealand and also horses doing trail rides and general maintenance and work around the stables. He is a Chef by trade so has experience with cooking. He is pretty flexible and quick to learn new skills, is very calm and relaxed with everything he does. He did well in the course and performed well in all activities and learnt new skills as well as assisting a fellow trainee. He has his own vehicle a 4WD so is fully mobile and is available for 3 plus months.

Experience: He doesn’t have his license at the moment but is in the process of obtaining one. He has been around farms his whole life, his parents and grandfather are involved in agriculture he has a good work ethic and has a decent skill set for his age. He has been working on a farm for the last 6 months near York. He did the hay & straw season, he operated self-propelled hay cutters, swathers, self-propelled swather and other machinery, trucks on the farm, carting hay, telehandlers, helped with maintenance and repairs. Is very capable in the sheep yards, can shear and rousie. He has a good solid skill set for a 17-year-old he needs more training and direction but is very willing to do a great job, he has a great attitude to please and to make sure he is doing the right thing.
