Why We’re Betting on the Giants to Land Travis Hunter at the 2025 NFL Draft
The Giants hold the 3rd total choice in the 2025 NFL Draft.
It is the 8th time in the last 11 years that the Giants will pick inside the top 10, and the sixth time since 2018 that the G-Men will select inside the top 6.
That isn’t the sort of pattern that any NFL franchise desires, but it is where the Giants are right now.
The silver lining is that they have the opportunity to prepare a franchise cornerstone at Lambeau Field on Thursday night.
Oddsmakers think that gamer will be Abdul Carter, the stud defensive end out of Penn State.

BetMGM Sportsbook had Carter at -450 to go third total on April 17, but has because seen his odds shorten to -600. That price carries an implied probability of 85.7 percent.
Travis Hunter is the second preferred to go to the Giants at No. 3 overall at +400.
No. 3 general chances
Hunter is now an overwhelming favorite to go to the Browns at No. 2, however there is an outdoors possibility that Cleveland chooses quarterback Shedeur Sanders because spot rather.
If that occurs, the Giants might go with Hunter, sports betting a two-way star out of Colorado, instead.
For the majority of the 2024 season, it looked like an inevitable conclusion that the Giants would target a quarterback in this position, but basic supervisor Joe Schoen signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in the offseason and has hinted the group most likely won’t be selecting a signal-caller at No. 3.
The chances on Carter at this point are too brief to get associated with, but if you’re looking for an enjoyable Giants-related bet you can bank on there to be some chaos in Round 1 with a little play on Sanders (22/1) to go No. 2 general, and after that Hunter (4/1) to go to Big Blue at No. 3.
It deserves remembering that this is a long shot, so it’s unlikely to win, but I ‘d rather spray something small on this course than lay major juice on Carter, since there is a way this goes sideways.
PICK: Travis Hunter prepared No. 3 general (+400, BetMGM)
