About Us

We are a Family Farm in the Great Southern Region of Western Australia running a 7,500 acre farm. The original Property was taken up in 1920, so we are a well established and stable business.   At present we are roughly 70% Crop and 30% Sheep that spans over our original property and a lease block down the road. We are a young family with 3 young Children, so family values and work/life balance are a priority. We have a accommodation on farm too for a family with school bus going right past its door and a local primary school 10Km from home.

Our operation consists of the usual seeding, spreading, spraying and harvest seasons with Shearing in March and Crutching in September. We also have a little Clover Harvesting side business that we do in February each year where we harvest Sub-Clover seed and sell it onto local farmers around the district. We are a very “in house” kind of operation where we try to do as much as we can ourselves, which includes carting all freight with our Road Train and doing all our own machinery maintainace and repairs. MC licence would be great to have, or willing to obtain and a strong mechanical knowledge and background and boiler maker skills even better.

We also do a lot of Landcare work with our own excavator when we get a chance to help combat our salinity problems, which then leads onto fencing, tree planting under ground drainage and alike.

We have a strong no drugs or alcohol requirement for work as per work safe requirements.

We are running a variety of machinery ranging from reasonably new through to old for odd jobs, but everything is well maintained and all works properly. All cropping gear running Trimble GPS systems.
