Job Overview
This role is for a machinery operator, with the main task being to operate machinery for pre-seeding preparation work and then an airseeder at seeding time.
The work will last through to early June and possibly longer depending on the season and the amount of post seeding work.
*This position is located close to two other opportunities in the area – whereby groups travelling together may be able to live together and work at different farms.
The Farm
The family business crop 4000+ ha in Bencubbin and surrounding areas. Key varieties cropped include wheat, barley and canola.

What are your rewards
Hourly rates above award are paid. Accommodation is provided and all amenities are covered e.g. power and water costs.
Accommodation is provided in a transportable accommodation unit. The successful applicant will have their own self-contained 1 bedroom unit and the other casual worker has their own self-contained 1 bedroom unit next door.
Some meals may be supplied during seeding, but other meals will need to self-catered.
A vehicle is provided for work and use to travel to Merredin for shopping but will not be available for personal use.
The surrounding community
The farm is approx. 3 hours from Perth and the nearest shopping centre is Merredin, which has all major facilities. There are some groceries available in Bencubbin, as well as a thriving sporting and local community.
