This small family farming business immediately require 1 x 12-hour tractor driver, most likely day shift although night shift may be available.
The Farm

The farm is a total cropping enterprise with wheat, canola, barley and lupin rotations.
Total farm acreage 7500 Ha with 6000 Ha cropped.
Main job description
Seeding runs from the start of April to mid-June. The property runs a full controlled traffic farming system.
Machinery includes:
- John Deere Articulated tractor
- Morris Air cart and bar 13.5m
- Mack Truck
- JCB telehandler
- GPS, Agworld (farm recording app), Topcon computer screens, Protaker Auto steer, automated packing control, liquid systems
Skills you need
- Driver’s license required
- Non-Smoker
- Dedicated, hardworking
- Needs good communication skills
- Works well in at team
- Willing to ask for help or extra support if unsure of a task
- English speaking background or fluent English
- Some experience or knowledge in agriculture
- Machinery experience preferred
What are your rewards
Casual Fulltime Farmhand- $30-$45/hour depending on skill set and experience. This includes accommodation, all house amenities paid and work vehicle.
Should the applicant be keen and suitable to stay on, a Permanent Farmhand position would attract $25-$40/hour depending on skill set and experience. The owners offer flexibility in work hours for family, sport and health commitments.
Shared accommodation is available in a house on the farm with colleagues, or shared accommodation in an on-farm leased house (with neighbours employee). Both houses have 2 bathrooms, adequate bedroom space with queen size bed and cupboard storage available.
Meals are supplied during seeding.
