Job Overview
This role is with a family business based between Kalannie and Koorda.
The owners are an easygoing young family. They are looking for someone to join the team who has a good attitude and wants to do a good job. The successful applicant will be operating a JD 9430 4WD towing a 50ft Bourgault 8810 bar and box that will start mid-April but could be considered earlier or later.
The Farm
The business owns 1800ha and has 1500ha under contract. They are a total cropping enterprise mainly producing wheat, barley and canola.
Skills you need
- Driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Strong work ethic and able to follow instructions.
- Clean and cautious with equipment.
What are your rewards
$30-35/hr depending on experience.
Accommodations are provided a basic clean house next to the main building, or a donga at other farm.
Meals are provided only during seeding.
Local Community
Based between Kalannie and Koorda, successful applicants have the opportunity to join local sporting teams from either community.
Grocery shops, post office, pubs and community activities are available in both towns.
