Family owned and operated business looking for a team member to join them for seeding.
The Farm
The business is family owned and manages 4600Ha cropping mainly canola and wheat.
They also run livestock, including 800 Ha for angus beef including 500 breeders.
Main job description
The role will start in late March and run until June.
Machinery includes:
- 450 quadtrac
- 1050, 920 & 924 fendt
- bourgault box & khart 12m seeder
- 4430 case sprayer
- merlo telehandlers
- forklift
- 12 m tramlines
Skills you need
- Some experience in medium/large sized agricultural machinery
- Some experience in general farm maintenance and repairs
- No smoking or vaping on farm
- Truck license a positive but not required
- Welding handy at repairing
- Mechanical experience
- Knowledge of agriculture and broadacre farming required
What are your rewards
Wages will depend on experience.
Farm vehicle will be supplied for work and some local personal use.
Accommodation and utilities supplied – 2 x1 bedroom cottage 10km from town on home farm. Modern farm cottage, small yard, not appropriate for pets.
Meals supplied during seeding.
