Job Overview
This role is with a family owned and operated broad acre farm based on the lower Eyre Peninsula.
The farm currently employes 3 full-time, 2 part-time, and 1-3 seasonal staff. They are looking for someone to start early April through to the end of May. Opportunity for the right applicant to stay on until mid-July to assist with crop maintenance.
The Farm
The farm works across a range of owned, share-farmed and leased properties, all within 15kms of the main farm.
The farm crops around 5000Ha of wheat, canola, lentils and barley. They operate both new and old machinery.
Main Job Description
Sharing a split shift on the air-seeder, seeding from early April through to end of May, possible extension to mid- July to assist with crop maintenance (spreading, spraying) and other workshop duties.

Skills you need
- Drivers License
- Non smoker/vape
- Large Machinery and Broad acre experience preferred
- Good work ethic
What are your rewards
Pay rate will depend on experience and increases based on experience level. The starting rate is $35/hr.
Accommodation is available (A new self-contained studio cabin including kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities is available during seeding. The cabin is located on a farm neighboring the main farm.
Work vehicle provided.
Meals supplied only during seeding.

The nearest town is Cummins about 15 minutes away, and offers most services including an IGA grocery store, Deli, butcher, bakery, hospital, pub, pharmacy, school, doctor’s clinic and agricultural retailers.
