The Farm
The business is a family owned and run Agribusiness with enterprises in beef cattle production, breeding and broadacre cropping.
Our cropping program operates over 3000ha of arable land, growing wheat, barley, oats and canola.
Feed barley and oaten silage are feed commodities grown to supply to our on farm cattle feedlot.
Main job description
2 Machinery operators are required for a mid-March start.
Operators generally drive the airseeder in 2x 10hr shifts. These hours can be flexible at times as the season progresses. Sundays are days off.
Pre-season maintenance of machinery and paddock preparation from mid-March onwards, with seeding commencing in mid-April.
Continued work will be available for those wishing to stay on, with jobs including spreading fertiliser, spraying and silage/harvest operations. Opportunities may arise to work with the cattle team for those wishing to work with livestock.
Seeding operators will drive a John Deere 8RT 410, with Morris aircart and John Deere bar.
Skills you need
- Non-Smokers preferred.
- Some experience in medium/large sized Agricultural Machinery
- Some experience in general farm maintenance and repairs
- An attention to detail and focus on job execution
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously as required
What are your rewards
Pay ranges from $32-40/hr depending on experience and skillset.
Dinners are provided during seasonal seeding/harvest work.

The surrounding community
The farm is surrounded by multiple small towns with pubs, sporting clubs and amenities.
There is some distance between towns, so a driver’s license is essential.
