This farming enterprise is looking for a full-time permanent general farmhand for an immediate start!
The Farm
This family farming business is cropping 12.000 hectares of wheat, barley and canola. Operating big and modern JD, Fendt and NH equipment and machines.
Details of interest
Duties include seeding and harvest, as well as general farm work and maintenance.
Roles throughout the year will include:
- Spreader-Agri spread
- Discing-swiffta discs
- Crunching-Mandako
- Paddock prep (Rock picking, tree limbs, tramline renovation, discing, deep ripping, spreading)
- Seeding
- Spreading
- Maintaining Machines
- Nurse tank driving
- General farm duties
Harvest and seeding machinery includes:
- FENDT 9T
- 2x 9.90 NH
- 3x 13.5m header fronts
- 1x 30T Trufab chaser
- 1x 41T ELMARS chaser
- 2x JD 9520 RX
- 2x 9365 Morris tow between bins
- 2x 13.5m Morris Quantum’s
Skills you need
- A minimum HR Class driver’s license is required.
- Non-smoker.
- Mechanical skills are appreciated.
- Able to use apps and GPS.
- Able to perform basic machinery operation.
- The applicant is responsible for own vehicle.
