Job Overview
The Farm
Family run farm with land in both the Bruce Rock and Kellerberrin shires. Farm is 4500ha with over 4000ha cropped. Crops grown are wheat, barley, lupins and canola. The business also have approximately 800 sheep (Van Rooys).

October through to late December/early January.
Harvest machinery includes a John Deere S790 header, 40ft front and a chaser bin.
The machinery is very well maintained and they take pride in their business. Good employees are treated like family on the farm and they provide opportunities to socialise outside work hours.

- Ability to work as part of a team.

What are your Rewards?
Wages depends on experience.
Header driver no experience – $35 per hour plus accommodation, work vehicle and all meals.
Header driver 12 months experience – $37 per hour plus accommodation, work vehicle and all meals.
Header driver 2 years + experience – $38 per hour plus accommodation, work vehicle and all meals.
Separate accommodation can be provided and all meals during harvest. Separate quarters with own bathroom and kitchen facilities. Queen sized bed.
What can life after work look like
Bruce Rock is renowned throughout the wheatbelt for its modern sporting facilities (football, netball, hockey, tennis, swimming pool, lawn bowls, pony club, darts etc).
There are two pubs and one district club. Bruce Rock also hosts the Back to the Bush Veterans week in the first week of November. Veterans from all over Australia come to Bruce Rock for the week with numerous activities which culminate on the Saturday with community markets, a parade and a community dinner.
