This family owned and operated farm is seeking two seeder drivers for the upcoming season. Work will start in March and run until June.
There will be ongoing work for one person after seeding has been completed, until around August.
The business crops around 3800ha in Tambellup.
Primary cropping includes oats, wheat and barley. The business also run 4500 sheep.
Machinery used on the farm includes a JD 9520 4 WD tractor pulling a JD 1870 seeding bar and box.
Details of interest
The primary roles of the seasonal staff will be general farmhand with main task being to operate machinery for pre seeding preparation work and then an airseeder at seeding time.
The work will last through to mid-June and possibly longer for one staff member, depending on the season and the amount of post seeding work. This role will continue through to around August.
The business also have sheep, so some livestock work may be required throughout your employment.
Skills you need
- Driver’s license.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and observant.
- Able to follow instructions/guidelines.
- Machinery experience preferred.

Staff will be responsible for their own breakfast and lunch and dinner will be provided during seeding.

The farm is approximately 4 hours from Perth and the nearest shopping centre is Gnowangerup.
There is a vehicle available for work purposes and for going to town to do your food shopping.
