This role, based in Lake King, is for a seeding bar operator and rock picker driver. The job is for a late March start and will continue throughout seeding.
The business is a friendly family run farm situated in the centre of Lake King a two-minute drive to the local shop and Tavern.
Training and guidance is offered with the opportunity for continued work and a full-time position for the right applicant.

Seeding runs throughout April/May and the operator will be working with a 40ft DBS bar, driven with 9 series Fendt.
The business runs a 3200Ha broadacre operation, cropping wheat, barley, canola, peas and lupins. There is no livestock, however, they also run a spray contracting business.
Skills you need
- Non smoking applicants are preferred. No smoking is allowed in any work vehicle or accommodation.
- Willingness to learn.
- Driver’s license essential.
- Vehicle provided for work use.

Pay negotiated with the applicant and dependant on experience.
Lunch and evening meals are offered during busy times (ie seeding) and will provide breakfast supplies and provisions.
A farm vehicle is provided for work purposes.
Accommodation is available. Single occupancy donga accommodation, ex mine site with single bed in each room and on suit shower/toilet. Four berths with 3 rooms available the fourth having been converted with table/chairs, basic kitchen appliances and washing machine. All housed undercover with lounge area, BBQ and solid wood heating.

The farm is situated between Newdegate and Ravensthorpe with the coastal town of Hoptoun just over an hours drive away.
