Seeding Machinery Operator (ref#220021)

This 4000ha family run farm crops 2200ha with wheat, barley, oats and lupins. They also run 2700 merino & crossbreed sheep.

They are looking for someone to assist with:

• pre-seeding preparation of machinery and paddocks,
• marking lambs,
• spreading urea,
• weaning lambs and crutching sheep,
• pre harvest preparation of machinery,
• fencing, repairs and construction.

Seeding starts April to late May/June, using a New Holland tractor with 53 foot flexicoil seeder.

Hourly rate $30, negotiable.

Self contained accommodation included, on farm with basic internet connection and TV. Basic internet also provided. Meals provided during seeding and harvest

Work ute provided, driver’s license required.

Prefer non smoker. Machinery experience preferred but common sense and willingness to learn highly valued! Would love a conscientious worker to join the team.
