The business is looking for a seeding operator to start early April and aim to finish late May/early June.
The Farm
The business runs both cropping and sheep programs.
3000ha cropped. Main cropping varieties are wheat, barley, oats, lupins and canola.
1000ha sheep. Breeding stock of 1700 merino ewes (400 mated to x/bred).
Main Job Description
Key roles will include:
- JD 570R, simplicity seed cart and flexicoil bar
- Minimal sheep work
- Machinery maintenance
- General farm hand work and Maintenace
- Spreading and Loader work
Skills you need
- Drivers license required and own vehicle
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Non Smoking
- Hygenic
- Looks after machinery and takes pride in their work
What are your rewards
$32 – $38/hr depending on experience.
Accommodation is available in a weatherboard cottage, partial kitchen and is air conditioned.
Fuel Provided.
Meals are not supplied.
The Surrounding Community
Quairading is our local town and the farm is 28 kms east ( cottage is 40 kms.) We are approx 180 kms east of Perth.
Quairading is a sporting town with footy, netball and hockey.
