A family-owned business looking for two general farmhands to start in mid-May.
The role will be primarily working with livestock with work available for 3 months.
The business
1400ha cropping/ livestock and sheep feed-lotting.
400 ha vetch for grazing /silage.
1000ha barley.
1200 ewes mated to prime lambs.
Skills and the role
- Ability to assist with seeding prep.
- Mixing feedlot mixes with vertical mixer.
- Drenching.
- Cleaning troughs.
- Weighing lambs and drafting sheep.
- Applicants will be organised and reliable.
- Driver’s license essential.
- Fluent English is essential.
