Hands Up … Who loves feeding a Grateful Group of Harvest workers – Multiple Harvest cooking roles available across WA
Numbers vary from farm to farm but generally Cooking for 10 to 12 people … evening meal plus some baking for snacks. Some farms require lunches as well.
The menu includes good wholesome family style food, Keeping some variety in their daily feed but nothing gourmet
There may be some requirement to do parts runs and help moving people between paddocks and farms.
Meal deliveries and housekeeping duties, grocery shopping are also part of the job.
A Manual drivers licence and competent driving skills are essential.
Start dates vary but generally the last week of October to 2nd week of November and finish when Harvest finishes, most likely by Christmas.
For some farms, all being well there is the opportunity to return for seeding from April 2025
For those roles that require the cook to be helping on the farm it can count for the 88 Days. You will be employed as a General Farmhand
Good English is essential… you need to be able to communicate easily over a radio or phone.
