Job Overview
This family business is looking for a general farmhand to join their team immediately.
The role will be working in a team of 3-4 – including farm owners and employees, as well as contractors.
The Farm
The family farm is a 4000 ha mixed farming property, located in the Shire of Boyup Brook – 3 hours south of Perth.
Enterprise includes Angus breeders, merino ewes, seasonal lamb feedlot and a cropping programme including barley, canola, lupins, oats, hay and silage.
Details of interest
The family are looking for a Farm Hand – preferably with experience.
Taking in all facets of a mixed farming operation from daily chores such as feeding stock and general maintenance to seasonal activities such as seeding and harvesting.
Good communication, a willingness to learn and adopt new practices and develop new skills are a priority.
Skills you need
- Applicant needs to have experience with operating machinery.
- Good livestock knowledge and skills would be an advantage.
- A passion for working in agriculture.
- Drivers license essential.
- Non-smoking.
- Farm Hand experience.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.

House included located on the farm. Older style home, renovated in 2017.
