This family operated farm is seeking one Chaser Bin driver to start the middle to the 3rd week of October.
A friendly family run farm since approx 1960, located in the Wheatbelt town of Babakin within the Bruce Rock Shire consisting of father & son (working on the farm), plus their partners and children.
They are a progressive farm with all modern machinery and are very open to training the right person.
The Farm
The farm is 3200 hectare owned and 300 hectares leased. The family crop 2400 hectares to lupin, canola, oats, barley and wheat.
They also run around 2200 sheep.
Details of interest
Harvest can run anywhere from the middle of October through to end of December.
Harvest machinery includes a Case 7130 header, a 20 ton Chaserbin, towed with the John Deere 7930 and a Western Star road train.
Skills you need
A driver’s license and your own vehicle is essential.
Knowledge of driving machinery is preferred some training can be provided.
Able to work alone or in a team environment.
Effective communication.
Farm Experience a positive.

Meals will/can be provided during harvest.
A 2×1 granny flat style accommodation is supplied separate /close to main farmhouse. The property includes your own washing machine and cooking facilities inside.

The farm is located approx 43km from Bruce Rock townsite which offers sporting of cricket & lawn bowls and public swimming pool during summer periods, football, hockey & netball during winter.
During the summer months opportunity to play a sport on a Saturday afternoon is available.
Shackleton is approx 28km away which has lawn bowls during the summer period and also has a local district club.
Ardath is located approx 14km away which has a great Hotel/pub – the closest drinking/food establishment.
Corrigin is 28km away which offers sporting of cricket & lawn bowls and public swimming pool during summer periods, football, hockey & netball during winter.
Perth is approx 2+ hour drive and Northam is approx 1.5-2hr drive if you wanted to get away over the weekend.
