Job Overview
This family farming business is looking for a full-time general farm hand, up until seeding, who will then operate the airseeder. They are looking for someone to join their team immediately.

The Farm
The business runs a 3400 ha mixed farming enterprise.
They crop approx 2400 ha of wheat, barley, oats and lupins.
Run a White Suffolk and Ultrawhite stud and have approx 2500 commercial merinos and Ultrawhites.
Details of interest
General farm hand work will include managing a: Merlo telehandler, Freightliner Prime Mover, Ford Loui truck, Nissan Patrol Ute, Marshal spreader.
Duties will include – fencing, spreading, all sheep husbandry activities, machinery maintenance and servicing.
Seeding work will occur throughout April-June. Machinery includes a Case Quadtrac 600, JD 1830 airdrill, Simplicity airseeder, a Case 4430 SP boom and Norrish 5-in-1.
Skills you need
- Ideally non-smoker, no drugs.
- Proactive, show initiative and be able to work as a team and individually.
- Must be honest and respect our property and vehicles.
- Ideally experienced with MC truck licence.
- Looking for a full-time employee
What are your Rewards?
Wage will be dependent on experience. Approx $30-$45/hr, super and workers comp.
Accommodation and work ute provided.
Accommodation is a 3×1 fibro house. Includes a modern outdoor area and garage.
Meals supplied during seeding.
