This business is looking for a general farmhand for year-round work, with an ASAP start.
The Farm
Small family operated mixed crop and sheep farm.
Total area 4400 ha, cropping 2500 ha of wheat, barley, oats, canola, and lupins.
The business also mates approx. 2000 ewes annually.
Details of interest
Seeding will run from April – June.
Machinery includes: New Holland T9.560 4wd tractor, 15m Ausplow, DBS seeder with 9000L 3 bin aircart set up for granular and liquid, controlled by Topcon X30 monitor.
6m Bednar deep ripper.
Marshal 912T spreader.
Calibre 7000 sprayer 7000l tank, 36m boom.
New Holland T7.315 fwa tractor.
Skills you need
- Nonsmoking / vaping.
- Must be able to work independently, problem solve and have attention to detail.
- Some experience and willing to work with sheep.
- Must be able to carry out prestart checks and daily servicing of machinery.
- Mechanical skills welding.
- Truck license HR /HC.
